Here is a quick sentence or two regarding this weeks MLS match-ups.
Montreal v Chicago Buoyed by a raucous home crowd, the Impact will find their first home win. I don't think it will be pretty, but they should get it done in front of home support.
Montreal 2 - Chicago 0
San Jose v Houston San Jose will take this match. Houston will be hard pressed to make it two in a row.
SJ 1- Hou 0
KC v NE KC will continue its ascension to the power in the eastern conference. NE will continue to struggle under new head coach Jay Heaps.
KC 3 - NE 1
Dallas v Portland FC Dallas will have a tougher time against the Timbers than it had against Red Bulls, however, the Timbers still need to prove they can play away from home.
Dal 1- Por 1
Seattle v Toronto The Sounders will look to bounce back from a tough trip to Mexico, while Toronto will struggle to replicate the result secured against Los Angeles.
Sea 2 - Tor 0
Real Salt Lake v Red Bull New York The Red Bulls will be looking to find any sort of cohesion while facing an early favorite for best team in MLS. The results will not be encouraging.
RSL 3 - NYRB 1
Chivas v Vancouver Chivas USA will continue to struggle in finding its identity. Vancouver's attacking options will be too much for the Chivas defense to handle.
Chivas 0 - Vancouver 2
Philadelphia v Colorado The Sons of Ben will try to lift the Union who were a little unlucky in Portland on opening weekend. Unfortunately, with a few players busy with U23 duties, it may not be enough.
Phil 1 - Colorado 1
LA v DC LA needs to make a statement. The start to their season has been anything but what was predicted. A visit from a DC team not in top form may be just what is needed.
LA 2 - DC 1
Running total for the season:
Correct Results - 5
Exact Scorelines - 1
Incorrect result - 3
62.5%
I love the predictions. I'll join in next week.
